A new study is out, and it finds that smokers may be able to kick the habit thanks to e-cigarettes. The e-cigarette industry is practically not allowed to claim as a smoking cessation product, however the new study may just help the cause.
DesignTrend.com reports that almost 5,900 smokers were interviewed between 2009 and 2014. And all of them actually wanted to quit smoking, but had not yet taken the steps to do so. 20% of those who used the e-cigarettes during the study were able to quit smoking. The study found that 60% of those who used the e-cigarettes found it effective that any other traditional smoking cessation product, such as nicotine patch, gums, etc.
Even though the research still isn't nearly done on the full range of harm or benefits of vaping, we do know that it is less harmful to health than smoking tobacco.
